SOP p.161

Pilot Flying

Follow the published missed approach procedure or, if desired, request a climb out straight ahead.
During the climb to acceleration height, ensure that the PM has declared an emergency and coordinate any amendments to the missed approach procedure, as needed.
Above 400 feet AAE: Confirm or request desired lateral mode as needed. Confirm or request desired BANK mode as needed. Disengage Auto Throttle. Call: “IDENTIFY”
If ENGINE FIRE OR SEVERE DAMAGE: Call for the appropriate drill.

Pilot Monitoring

Call: “ENGINE FIRE” or “ENGINE FAILURE”
If applicable, cancel the Fire Warning bell.
Declare an emergency and obtain clearance as requested by PIC.
Engage lateral mode as requested. Select desired BANK mode if needed.
Identify the problem and call: “ENGINE FIRE #__” or “ENGINE FAILURE #__” or “ENGINE SEVERE DAMAGE #__”
Accomplish the appropriate memory items in coordination with the PF.
After completing the memory items, advise the PF: “ENGINE FIRE or Engine Severe Damage or Separation DRILL COMPLETE”
Advise ATC.

Flap retraction / after flaps up (SOP p.162)

Pilot Flying

At Flap Retraction Altitude, call: "SET UP SPEED" then accelerate to flaps up manoeuvring speed and retract flaps on speed schedule.
NOTE: The Flight Director commands a near level or a slight climb (0-200 fpm) flap retraction segment.
After the flaps are retracted, call: "Engage LEVEL CHANGE, UP SPEED” (as required for takeoff weight)
Confirm and request BANK mode to 30 as needed.
“SET MAX CONTINUOUS THRUST”
Engage autopilot in CMD (as required). Remain at flaps up manoeuvre speed until all obstructions are cleared, then select the engine-out schedule from the CDU CLB page (depending on the next course of action).
Direct the PM to obtain appropriate information and clearance from ATC. Determine the next course of action.
Call for the appropriate checklist: “ENGINE FIRE, SEVERE DAMAGE, OR SEPARATION CHECKLIST” or “ENGINE FAILURE OR SHUTDOWN CHECKLIST”

Pilot Monitoring

Set airspeed as directed.
Select Level Change and set airspeed as directed.
Select BANK mode to 30 if needed.
Set maximum continuous thrust (CON).
Obtain appropriate information and clearance. Advise ATC of intentions and set up navigation radios as required.
Do the appropriate checklist.
