Fire Protection
QRH 8.21 · Étape 16
EQUIP COOLING SUPPLY and EXHAUST switches (both) → ALTN
Instruct the cabin crew to:
Turn on cabin reading lights.
Turn on galley attendants work lights.
Turn off cabin fluorescent light switches.
Divert to the nearest suitable airport while continuing the checklist.
Consider an immediate landing if the smoke, fire or fumes situation becomes uncontrollable. Do not delay landing in an attempt to complete all of the following steps.
ISOLATION VALVE switch → CLOSE
R PACK switch → OFF
Wait 2 minutes unless the smoke or fumes are increasing. This allows time for the smoke or fumes to clear.

Smoke or fumes are decreasing→ Smoke or Fumes Removal 8.32 if needed Smoke or fumes continue or are increasingR PACK AUTO · L PACK OFF
R PACK switch → AUTO
L PACK switch → OFF
Wait 2 minutes unless the smoke or fumes are increasing. This allows time for the smoke or fumes to clear.
Smoke or fumes decreasing / continue or increasingL PACK AUTO if increasing · consider immediate landing → 8.32 if needed
