SOP B73C · AILO-0022.7 · Amendment 2 · 15 déc 2025 · 1.10.5 · p.78
The Approach Briefing uses the same T–P–C format as the Takeoff Briefing and focuses on the same Threat and Error Management goals.
The Approach Briefing will be carried out before any approach type with the help of its associated Briefing Card.
The Approach Briefing is complementary to the SOP. It is not meant to be a repetition of SOP items nor a checklist to complete the cockpit preparation.
Both pilots will verify the Build & Bugs of the FMC and MCP, and will review all pertinent information and Notes pertaining to the cleared and/or planned arrival (Weather, Aerodrome & Taxi Charts, and Arrival/Approach Charts) prior initiating the Briefing.
APPROACH BRIEFING

PLAN
o Minimum Safe Altitudes au besoin
APPROACH BRIEFING (continued) Considerations This portion complements the briefing with details of interest that are worth taking into consideration; they only need to be mentioned when necessary.
