2. Appliquer les procédures (O) et/ou (M) du MEL avant dispatch — texte officiel ci-dessous.
3. Placard (texte MEL) :
Apply sticker adjacent to APU switch.
4. Journey log / other instructions (texte MEL) :
Print the following information in the journey log sheet.

(O) OPERATIONS PROCEDURES — texte MEL :
49-06A APU Inlet Door Inoperative Open:
The following performance penalties can be used to account for the increased drag resulting from the
APU inlet door being inoperative in the open position (either fully or partially open) and the APU not
running. Fuel burn will be increased by 2.8%.
TAKEOFF &
ENROUTE CLIMB
APPROACH/LANDING CLIMB
410 lb (186 kg) 830 lb (376 kg)
NOTE: Enroute climb penalties are based on single engine operating speeds that approximate
maximum lift-to-drag ratio speed. To account for the difference in level off altitude when
operating at other speeds, multiply the enroute climb weight penalty listed above by the
appropriate Enroute Diversion Speed Effects factor.

49-06B APU Not Used:

5. Close the stabilizer trim access door.
MAINTENANCE NOTE:
It is vitally important that Dispatch be advised as soon as possible when dispatching with an APU
Inoperative. This will allow time to make the required ground handling arrangements.
