resulting changes in weight and balance are accounted for.

there is no evidence of heat damage or delamination.
3. Prior to departure, verify with Dispatch that suitable arrangements have been made at
destination, alternate and any technical stops (if required) to handle any anticipated ground
service requirements. If ground power or adequate air will not be available, particular attention
must be given to refuelling, de-icing and cross bleed start requirements.
4. If ground power will not be available, review the Battery Start procedure.
5. APU air will not be available for a NO ENGINE BLEED AIR takeoff.
CAUTION:
CREW MUST HAVE ADEQUATE TIME TO BRIEF FOR SUPPLEMENTARY PROCEDURES IN
REGARDS TO ENGINE STARTING, PUSHBACK, COMMUNICATION WITH GROUND

MAINTENANCE NOTES
1. Aircraft may be operated with the APU removed (AMM 49-11-02, APU Power Plant - Maintenance
Practices - requires APU Deletion Tool Kit C49009-1).
2. It is vitally important that Dispatch be advised as soon as possible when dispatching with an APU
Inoperative. This will allow time to make the required ground handling arrangements.
3. Unsuccessful APU start may be the result of an inoperative APU Fuel Valve. Reference MEL Item
28-4 for appropriate relief when dispatching with an inoperative APU Fuel Valve.
