Apply sticker adjacent to Windshield Wiper Switch and, if applicable, placard Captain's forward instrument panel: CAT II OPS PROHIBITED.

4. Journey log / other instructions (texte MEL) :

Print the following information in the journey log sheet. • Condition 1 - Windshield Wiper System Inoperative (LH)(RH)(BOTH) WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM(S) INOP - REVIEW WEATHER FOR PRECIPITATION AT DEPARTURE AND DESTINATION AIRPORTS - VERIFY CAT II STATUS • Condition 2 - Wiper System Park or Speed Function Inoperative _______ FUNCTION OF WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM INOP

5. Respecter toutes les restrictions du MEL — ne pas en inventer.

(O) OPERATIONS PROCEDURES — texte MEL :

None required. OPERATIONS NOTES: Prior to departure, review departure, destination and alternate airport weather for indications of precipitation.

(M) MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES — texte MEL (maintenance ; l’équipage vérifie que c’est fait) :

None required. MAINTENANCE NOTE: If wiper blade obstructs forward vision do these steps: 1. Do this task: Windshield Wiper Arm Removal (AMM 30-42-31). 2. Do this task: Windshield Wiper Arm Installation (AMM 30-42-31). NOTE: It is only necessary to put the wiper arm in the parked position and to apply the appropriate downward force on the wiper blade. The steps related to the sweep of the wiper arm are not necessary.
