28-22-02 — SPAR VALVE CLOSED Lights or MA30A1001 (S343T003-66) installed at the engine fuel spar valve positions, ensure compliance with AD 2015-21-10.

(M#) May be inoperative provided: a) Associated valve is verified to operate normally, and b) Crossfeed VALVE OPEN light operates normally. NOTE: For airplanes with a fuel spar valve actuator having part number MA20A2027 (S343T003-56)

Procédure équipage — (O) / (M) / placard
1. Confirmer l’item, la catégorie et le nombre requis dans le MEL officiel (lien PDF).
2. Appliquer les procédures (O) et/ou (M) du MEL avant dispatch — texte officiel ci-dessous.
3. Placard (texte MEL) :
Apply sticker adjacent to affected Fuel Valve Closed Light
4. Journey log / other instructions (texte MEL) :
Print the following information in the journey log sheet.
(LEFT)(RIGHT)(BOTH) FUEL VALVE CLOSED LIGHT(S) INOP
5. Respecter toutes les restrictions du MEL — ne pas en inventer.
(O) OPERATIONS PROCEDURES — texte MEL :

(M) MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES — texte MEL (maintenance ; l’équipage vérifie que c’est fait) :
None required.
(M#) MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES — personnel maintenance obligatoire — texte MEL :
Verify that the associated valve operates normallfy per Spar Valve Closed Light Deactivation
Procedure (AMM 28-00-00/901).
1. Confirm the associated engine start levers are in CUTOFF position.
2. Confirm that the Engine START switches are in the OFF position.
3. Open and collar the following circuit breakers:
a) P18-2 panel ENGINE 1 START VALVE
b) P6-2 panel ENGINE 2 START VALVE
4. Set the applicable Engine Start Lever to the IDLE position.
5. Visually confirm associated spar valve override lever moved to the OPEN position.
6. On the P8-1 Aisle Stand, pull the L and R FIRE HANDLE to the FIRE position.
CAUTION:
DO NOT TURN THE FIRE HANDLE. YOU WILL CAUSE THE FIRE BOTTLES TO RELEASE THEIR
CONTENTS IF YOU TURN THE HANDLE.
7. Visually confirm associated spar valve override lever moved to the CLOSED position.
8. On the P8-1 Aisle Stand, push the L and R FIRE HANDLE to the NORMAL position.
9. Visually confirm that the associated spar valve override lever moved to the OPEN position.
10. Set the applicable Engine Start Lever to the CUTOFF position.
11. Visually confirm that the associated spar valve override lever moved to the CLOSED position.
12. Close the following circuit breakers:
a) P18-2 panel ENGINE 1 START VALVE
b) P6-2 panel ENGINE 2 START VALVE
