Apply sticker adjacent to APU start switch.

Print the following information in the journey log sheet.
APU FUEL VALVE INOP CLOSED - DO NOT START APU
5. Respecter toutes les restrictions du MEL — ne pas en inventer.
(O) OPERATIONS PROCEDURES — texte MEL :
1. Dispatch is not allowed if the APU is required by other procedures.
2. APU must not be started.
(M) MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES — texte MEL (maintenance ; l’équipage vérifie que c’est fait) :
None required.
(M#) MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES — personnel maintenance obligatoire — texte MEL :
Deactivate the APU fuel shutoff valve (AMM 28-00-00/901):
1. Open and collar these circuit breakers on the P6 panel:
d) AUX POWER UNIT CONT
e) APU FIRE SW POWER.
2. Locate valve on the left wing rear spar in the wheel well.
3. Remove, cap and stow the electrical connector.
4. If necessary, use the manual override handle to close valve.
5. Lockwire manual override handle in closed position.
NOTE: It is vitally important that Dispatch be advised as soon as possible when dispatching with an
APU (or some function thereof) inoperative. This will allow maximum time to make the
required ground handling arrangements.
Restrictions / notes (extrait MEL)
APU FUEL VALVE INOP CLOSED - DO NOT START APU
2. APU must not be started.
