3. Placard (texte MEL) :

Apply sticker on or adjacent to Auto Slat Fail Light.

4. Journey log / other instructions (texte MEL) :

Print the following information in the journey log sheet. AUTO SLAT SYSTEM (NO 1) OR (NO 2) INOP

5. Respecter toutes les restrictions du MEL — ne pas en inventer.

(O) OPERATIONS PROCEDURES — texte MEL :

For initial dispatch, verify normal operation of the remaining autoslat system: NOTE: Illumination of the associated lights when recalled and extinguishing when reset verifies normal operation. 1. Press and release a system annunciator panel on the glareshield and observe that these lights illuminate: a) FLT CONT b) AUTO SLAT FAIL c) MASTER CAUTION. 2. Press and release a MASTER CAUTION light and observe that these lights extinguish: a) FLT CONT b) AUTO SLAT FAIL c) MASTER CAUTION.

(M) MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES — texte MEL (maintenance ; l’équipage vérifie que c’est fait) :

None required. MAINTENANCE NOTE: The inoperative autoslat system can be deactivated by opening and collaring the associated P6-2 Panel AUTO SLAT DC circuit breaker.
