Dispatch with Return Air Grille broken or missing (AMM 21-00-00/901).
Minor damage, cracks, and cosmetic defects that do not hinder function of return air grille are
acceptable.
Only ONE return air grille may be blocked at any one time. Grille must be replaced by a panel that
completely blocks the area. Some locations may not have return air grilles due to the placement of
doors or monuments. For a damaged return air grille not located in one of the listed locations, it is
acceptable to replace the damaged return air grille with one in the allowed location if the two return
air grill assemblies are the same part number.
