1. PARKING BRAKE → SetPIC

2. Speedbrake lever → DOWNPIC

3. FLAP lever → 40SIC

4. Pressurization mode selector → MAN DCSIC

5. Outflow VALVE switch → Hold in OPENSIC · Until the outflow VALVE indication shows fully open to depressurize the airplane

If time allows: Verify that the flaps are 40 before the engine start levers are moved to CUTOFFPIC

6. Engine start levers (both) → CUTOFFPIC

7. Cabin → Evacuation commandPIC

8. ATC → AdvisePIC

9. Engine and APU fire switches (all) → Override and pullPIC

10. If an engine or APU fire is observed or indicated:
Illuminated fire switch → Rotate to the stop and hold for 1 secondPIC
