3 Autothrottle (if engaged) → Disengage Do the next two steps on one engine at a time. Thrust lever (selected engine) → Retard to 45% N1 for five seconds then slowly advance to a minimum of 80% N1 for approximately 1 second Thrust lever (selected engine) → Reduce as needed for flight conditions Wait 15 seconds.
