Condition
Il y a un déséquilibre carburant entre les main tanks.
Objectif
Décider si une fuite carburant est soupçonnée. Équilibrer le carburant si une fuite n’est pas soupçonnée.
If an engine has low or no fuel flow and unusual engine indications, the IMBAL alert may show due to an engine malfunction instead of a fuel leak.
The IMBAL alert may be caused by a fuel leak, an inoperative crossfeed valve or a fuel imbalance.
A fuel leak should be suspected if one or more of the following are true:
• The total fuel remaining is less than the planned fuel remaining.
• An engine has excessive fuel flow.
