Approach idle est plus bas que flight idle. Un N2 de finale ne se compare pas à un N2 de palier.Approach idle is lower than flight idle. A final N2 is not compared with a cruise N2.
High idle en vol vient souvent de l’anti-ice moteur ou de la config, pour garder du bleed et une accélération franche.High idle in flight often comes from engine anti-ice or config, to keep bleed and a crisp acceleration.
LOW IDLE veut dire sous la consigne, pas « approach idle normal ». Avancer la manette peut le lever. S’il reste, EEC ou fuel control.LOW IDLE means below the command, not “normal approach idle”. Advancing the lever may clear it. If it stays, EEC or fuel control.
